Ahmedabad may soon have its Disneyland;according to reports Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has invited a global tender to develop an amusement park in the city. As of now, the location is settled at Kankaria Balvatika. Interestingly, Balvatika is a centre of attraction near Kankaria Lake Front Development.

 

The amusement park will be an effort to offer children something exciting. Accordingly, the amusement park will be spread in 2,600 sq m in Balvatika. IP Gautam, Municipal commissioner promised that they are hoping to build an amusement park with international quality rides. As of now, there are five big and 11 small rides for children.

 

Evidently, AMC is interested in parties which can build, operate and transfer (BOT). Similarly, the selected party will design, finance, construct and operate the park. And, Disney is fitting in the job. To facilitate with bigger area, there would be an additional 1,000 sq m underground area. Even, there is a judicial permission from Gujarat High Court for the purpose.
