Former Miss India and Bollywood’s petite beauty, Diya Mirza will be seen in an absolutely new role in White Weather’s Films’ ‘Acid Factory’. The actress will play the role of a tough girl, wielding a gun and terrorizing everybody. Sanjay Gupta, the had of the White Feather Films when announced making Acid Factory had revealed that it is about seven baddies, played by all male actors. The name of the leading lady of the film was not divulged at that time. As it is Sanjay Gupta is known to be making films which are more men centric.
The female cast of the film was kept under wraps and was finally announced on Saturday, May 17, 2008. Sanjay Gupta on Saturday unveiled the life-sized image of Dia Mirza, saying that this is Max, the lone and deadly girl in the movie. The seven baddies were already announced, which includes Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdasani, Manoj Bajpai, Irrfan Khan, Danny Denzongpa, Gulshan Grover and Dinno Morea.
Dia Mirza who later spoke to the media persons remarked that she was bored of playing goody-goody girl next door kind of roles. Hence when Sanjay offered a role that she had never played before, she could not resist challenging herself with the role. The film is currently under production at the Ramoji Rao Studio in Hyderabad.
