The captain of Indian cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has managed to hold the top position in the International Cricket Council's (ICC) one-day rankings. Indian skipper is followed by Australia's Michael Hussey and Graeme Smith of South Africa. The South African skipper, who lost his No 1 position to Dhoni, has 760 points in his kitty. Dhoni, who is leading the table with 779 points is just three points ahead of Hussey who has 776 points.

 

Another Indian batsman, Yuvraj Singh is placed at sixth position in the ODI ranking with 744 points. The middle-order batsman, Yuvraj Singh has offered some blistering knocks during the ODI series against England. He and Dhoni are the only two Indian cricketers to make in top-10 list. Meanwhile, Australian pacer, Nathan Bracken tops the list of ODI bowlers with 775 points.

 

Bracken is followed by New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori (733) and Sri Lanka's Muttiah Murlitharan (717). No Indian bowler has been able to earn a place in the list of top 10 bowlers. Indian speedster, Zaheer Khan is at 11th position with 660 points, two points behind England's Andrew Flintoff (662) who is at 10th. The number one ODI all-rounder position is bagged by New Zealand's Jacob Oram (383). He is followed by Andrew Flintoff (366), with West Indian Chris Gayle and Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik tied (342) at the third place.  Australia still holds the position of best ODI team followed by South Africa and India.
