Cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni nowadays is busy making the society a better place. Of late, he’s been recording a message as part of an AIDS awareness campaign, which talks about the urgency to combat the life-threatening disease AIDS and promote anti-polio programmes. Dhoni, reportedly, has also done a short film in which he tells children to study and not to leave school. Bhanu Pratap Sahi, Jharkhand Health Minister, was all praise for Dhoni who hails from Ranchi and is Jharkhand's brand ambassador. ‘Dhoni is getting his voice recorded free of cost when the ad people pay him millions of rupees,’ the minister remarked.

The voice recording of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni for this AIDS campaign will most probably go on till Sunday. A number of slogans were recorded in Dhoni’s voice on Friday, one of which was ‘Daily I play cricket for the country, today I will speak about AIDS.’ On the other hand, the slogan ‘Education is must for self respect. Send your children to school’ features in the film which MS Dhoni has shot. While the voice recordings of Dhoni will be aired through the radio, the short film will be telecast through local TV channels and Doordarshan.
