Rahul Dholakia is quite agitated pertaining to the fact that the film which was tailor made for Kashmiris cannot be watched by them. The government didn’t allow the screening of ‘Lamhaa’ in Kashmir, so now taking it up as a challenge, Rahul has decided to arrange a special free bus service to and fro between Srinagar and Jammu.

Although ‘Lamhaa’ has opened to mixed reviews at the box office, but Rahul’s foremost purpose is to make sure that the message of his film reaches the target audience in Kashmir. The free bus service will commence in this week.

Rahul further adds, “It's a film for the Kashmiris and about their lives. It's only fair that they see it. We'll do whatever it takes to make sure they are able to reach the nearest spot where the film is being screened.”

Kashmiri people are travelling to Jammu and Delhi to watch the film and this is the reason why Rahul wants to ease their work.

He adds, “Mind you, it's not an easy journey. One either takes a flight out which most Kashmiris can't afford. So they've been making the journey by bus to see my film. 'Lamhaa' addresses their problems and they've realized it. The same cannot be said about some critics who have chosen to completely misinterpret my motives for making the film."

Rahul is not in a good mood presently and he is also upset by criticism of Bipasha’s performance in the movie. He is agitated over the fact that the same role was offered to all the other actresses as well, but no one took the role and when it comes to criticizing everyone is apt at that.

He adds, “I offered it to all the other top actresses. They all chickened out. Bipasha had the guts to take it up. And what a consistent and credible performance she has given. As far as I'm concerned, this is not just her best performance. It is one of the best performances by a female actor."
“There were over a 1,000 jawans (soldiers) there and still the angry civilians could do anything. Bipasha was completely vulnerable to attack. Hats off to her for returning to complete the film. She shot under very dangerous circumstances.”

Rahul is not a candy floss kind of director and he doesn’t take film direction as a business deal, but as an earnest effort to impart knowledge to the crowd.
