After the huge success of Yamla Pagla Deewana, Dharmendra wanted to visit the Golden Temple to offer his prayers along with his sons. However, the plan had to be dropped because the Deol’s visit there can lead to security hazard.

 

So now, Yamla Pagla Deewana (YPD)’s director Samir Karnik will be visiting the Golden temple on the behalf of the Deols.

 

Samir said, "Do you know what Dharamji and his two sons mean to Punjab? It's not just a security hazard. It'd be a riot situation! So I've come with my writer to Amritsar."

 

Samir said that he was planning to have his friend Bobby Deol to accompany him to the temple but, that also won’t be possible.

 

Samir added, "But even that, I was told, would be impossible. The Deols' visit to the Golden Temple is looking for trouble. It's sad but they cannot visit. I can only offer my own prayers on their behalf."
