Iconic designer Christian Louboutin is thrilled with Jennifer Lopez's musical ode to his shoes - and has learned every word of her new single.
Lopez pays tribute to her favourite footwear in Louboutin, the first single from her upcoming album Love? - which she showcased at last month's (Nov09) American Music Awards.
Louboutin himself reveals he first learned about the tribute back in January and has played it on a loop since he first heard the track.
The Frenchman tells FashionWeekDaily.com, "I was extremely flattered. I know the song by heart now."
He even reveals Lopez called him before recording the song, to make sure she pronounced his name right: "In America the public pronounces my name in like a million different ways. So Jennifer called me, and she was like, 'Listen, I want to make sure that I get it right.' And she did... from the very first time!"
