Denmark won the finals of the Lightweight Men's Four rowing event in the Beijing Olympics on Sunday, August 17. Their team consisted of Thomas Ebert, Morten Joergensen, Mads Christian Kruse Andersen and Eskild Balschmidt Ebbesen. Though they posted the fastest times during the heats and semifinals earlier, the final saw them posting their best time. Their time of 5:47.76 beat out second-place finisher Poland, which clocked a tome of 5:49.39. The bronze went to Canada, which finished in 5:50.09.
