Dell XPS14
Dell has launched new XPS notebooks- XPS15 and XPS14 that come with Skype certification. With 14-inch and 15-inch screen sizes, the notebooks have sophisticated features that meet all the basic and advanced requirements of professionals and students.
 
Dell supports features including GT 420M with 1GB memory and GT 425M with 2GB memory, a built-in JBL speakers that comes with Waves MaxxAudio 3 enabling it to perform up to 22W. Besides, the notebooks come embedded with Nvidia's 3DTV play software.
 
The XPS notebooks are made to operate on Windows 7 Home Premium, Ultimate OSes and Professional.
 
“The XPS brand has always been the standard-bearer for outstanding performance from Dell, and this newline of laptops is no exception. These laptops are great you are a technology, media or graphics enthusiast and also are the ideal companion for students, families and mobile professionals,” Dell India’s General Manager for consumer, small and medium business, Mahesh Bhalla was quoted as saying at the launch.
 
Both the models- Dell XPS15 and Dell XPS14 notebooks come with Intel Core processor i3 standard, Core processors i5 and i7 options that offer 1066MHz memory, and 1333MHz standard. The notebooks are equipped with 8GB dual channel DDR3 memory.
 
Dell has priced its new XPS lineup- XPS15 and XPS14 at Rs. 45,900 and Rs. 44,900 respectively.
