Dell has come up with a new slim and sleek laptop called Dell Studio 14z. The all-new laptop features a 14-inch 16:9 LED display with HD and HD+ resolutions. The 4.3-pound Studio 14z also offers mobile broadband, wireless-N and optional Bluetooth. The USB ports of the laptop are equipped with PowerShare USB charging, which enables the users to charge USB-connected devices even when the laptop is not plugged in.
In addition to these, Dell Studio 14z also boasts of a 1.3-megapixel integrated webcam, DisplayPort, eSATA connectivity, two headphone jacks, and an optional 8-in-1 card reader. The Studio is basically targeted to media centric people. The new laptop from Dell's stable also comes with a theft prevention option called FailSafe. With the help of new theft prevention facility, the owner of the laptop will be able to track network information and the ISP location. The owners can delete selected files and make the laptop unusable with the help of FailSafe.
The Dell Studio 14z will run on an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. The laptop offers up to 500GB of hard drive space. It is available in a wide rage of colours like Promise Pink, Spring Green and Ruby Red. The new laptop will carry a price tag of $649 along with one-year warranty. It will be available in more than 120 designs from the Dell Studio collection.
