Delhi weather has improved remarkably as the Delhiites on Friday saw a bright sunny morning with very little fog and the temperature reading going up to 11.1 degrees Celsius in the morning hours. The maximum for the day, however, is expected to be around 25 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the visibility at 7.30 in the morning was about 500 metres which is quite good. The IMD official said, “There was a shallow fog till around 7 a.m. after which it cleared and the visibility improved to 500 metres.” He added saying, “Later in the day, however, there will be partly cloudy skies with a possibility of thundershowers in some areas.”
With the improvement in weather conditions, air travel is back on track as well. The runway had a visibility range of 2000 metres that facilitated smooth functioning with no disruptions at the Indira Gandhi International airport.
