The unrestrained hike in the prices of pulses as well as other essential commodities has put the common man in deep trouble. Now people have some amount relief as the Delhi state government has opened retail outlets for sale of the food commodity near the Congress’ headquarter in New Delhi.
"We have set up retail outlets at Maisten road which will sell pulses at reasonable prices," Congress town President Mahesh Dikshit said in New Delhi today.
Dikshit, who was addressing the media at the formal launch of the outlets, said the government is committed to provide relief to the "Aam admi".
People can buy food commodities from these outlets between 11 AM and 5 PM.
The pulse traders of New Delhi have given the thumbs up sign for this government initiative and have joined hands with government so that the price of pulses can be maintained in such a way that people will be able to afford these.
