According to autopsy report conducted in US, the 'Kill Bill' star David Carradine did not commit suicide. The 72-year-old actor was found dead in a hotel room in Bangkok last week. After receiving contradictory reports from Bangkok police, Carradine's family asked the Federal Bureau of Investigation to probe the case. The Bangkok police had earlier said that former Kung-Fu star might have committed suicide but after an autopsy conducted by experts at Chulalongkorn Hospital, it was reported that Carradine had died of suffocation.

According noted Thai forensics expert Porntip Rojanasunan, David Carradine might have died due to a sexual practice known as auto-erotic asphyxiation. The actor's body was found hanging in a closet with a rope around his neck and genitals with his hands bound. Carradine was in the Thai capital for shooting a film. Although initial reports claimed that the kung fu icon has committed suicide owing to financial pressure but his family strongly rejected such notions.

After conducting the autopsy, Biden, the former chief medical examiner for New York City, confirmed that David Carradine had not committed suicide. He added that more information is needed from Thai authorities to give a final verdict on the death of the actor. David Carradine was the star of 1970s TV series 'Kung Fu' and had appeared in more than 100 feature films with directors like Martin Scorsese, Ingmar Bergman and Hal Ashby.
