England midfielder David Beckham is most likely to return to AC Milan on loan in January. This was disclosed by Adriano Galliani, chief executive of the Serie A club on Monday.
Galliani at a sport and media convention in Monte Carlo said,"It's highly probable that Beckham will arrive at Milan on loan until June 30.But I'm not taking anything for granted until it's signed."
England manager Fabio Capello has said that Beckham must return to a top European side from Los Angeles Galaxy to have any hope of making his squad for next year's World Cup finals in South Africa.
The 34-year-old reclaimed his international position during a successful loan stint at Milan last season. Both Beckham and Tim Leiweke, the chief executive of LA Galaxy have recently said that the deal will be finalised very soon.
