After a long time, a situational comedy is going to hit screens across India. Named 'Dasvidaniya', the movie has Shashant Shah as its director and Azam Khan and Vinay Pathak as the producers. Apart from Vinay Pathak and Neha Dhupia, it boasts of names like Ranvir Shorey, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Suresh Menon, Gaurav Gera, Purvi Joshi, Dina, Kunal Kumar, Sachin Khurana, Suchitra Pillai, Sarita Joshi, Kiku Sharda, Joy Fernandes, Brijendra Kala and Chandan Bisht.
'Dasvidaniya' is story of a shy, common man - Amar Kaul (Vinay Pathak). He is an ordinary man who is leading a life in the ever-busy city of Mumbai, where people don't even have the time to stop-by and say 'hello'. One of the many unknown faces on the streets; he is leading a contented life. Every morning, he wakes up and makes a 'TO-DO LIST', of things that he needs to get accomplished in the day. It is the only thing that keeps him motivated. Suddenly one day, he comes to know that he has only three more months to live.
Aware of his death coming closer every passing moment, Amar realizes that there are so many things that he wanted to do, but could never achieve, owing to one reason or the other. So, he makes a list of 'Things To Do Before He Dies'. Now starts a roller coaster ride, which brings across many comic events in the life of Amar. 'Amar' symbolizes every one of us, who have got so busy that they have forgotten how to live and enjoy life. His 'to do things' list is symbolical of our wishes that could never culminate into reality.
