Animated mythological Dashavatar, about Lord Vishnu’s ten incarnations is set to release on June 13. The mythological entertainer is hailed as the biggest animated film made in India as yet. Made on a budget of Rs 120 million, the film can be enjoyed by children and adults alike from June 13 in the Indian cinema halls. The 115 minutes animated film has been produced by Pune based Phoebus Media and Anushvi Productions.
The film weaves together the stories of Lord Rama and Krishna, Parashuram, Vaman, Narsimha and Buddha and how they descended on earth to free it from the evil and save the mankind. Yesteryears Bollywood star Shatrughan Sinha’s voice has been used for narration in the film. Supriya Thakore, director Phoebus Media talking about the film remarked that in the beginning their challenge was trying out different designs to portray the characters, and then later putting the whole thing together. She further added that they didn't want the movie to be like different episodes; instead it had been woven in single thread.
