James Bond may be on vacation thanks to MGM financial crisis but Daniel Craig appears to be looking into other projects including one of the most talked about flick of Hollywood, ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’. It is said that Craig may join the cast of the cinema adaptation of award-winning crime novel.
Daniel Craig, 42 is in talks with the bosses of the flick to portray the role of Mikael Blomkvist. The role was earlier offered to Hollywood hunk, Brad Pitt.
‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ is adapted from the Stieg Larsson's novel of the same name which revolves around the life of investigative reporter Mikael and computer hacker Lisbeth Salander researching a family history for a wealthy recluse.
The movie adaption of three novels, ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’, ‘The Girl Who Played With Fire’ and ‘The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest’ has already been made in Swedish.
Meanwhile, the US remake will be directed by David Fincher and is scripted by Steven Zaillian.
