Representatives of Tibetan spiritual leader, Dalai Lama, are leaving for China to participate in dialogues which aims to end crisis in Tibet. The talks would be the first official one between the Chinese government and the representatives of Dalai Lama after violence broke out in the Tibet early this March. A statement from the Dalai Lama's office said that the representatives will arrive on Saturday, May 3, 2008 for the talks. However, it gave no further details on where the talks will take place.
 
It is to be noted that Beijingsaid  last week that it is ready to hold talks with the representatives of the Dalai Lama to put an end to Tibet crisis. There have been world wide protests against the Chinese policies on Tibet and the Olympic Torch relay has also been interrupted in several parts of the world. The world fraternity has asked China to open dialogues with Tibet to revive peace and prosperity to the nation. China has already had six rounds of talks with the representatives of Dalai Lama but to no avail. Friday's statement also said that the talks would aim to solve the Tibet issue in a peaceful manner.
