Germany is stunned after losing to Croatia by 2-1 in Euro Cup. Darjjo Srna and Ivica Olic scored goals for Croatia in each half. With this victory, Croatia stands at the top of Group B. Croatia has already been considered the dark horse for this tournament and doing well. Croatia has reached the quarterfinals after this victory. Earlier in 24^th minute of the game, Srna scored a goal on the pass of Ivan Rakitic.

In second half, Olic of Croatia scored another goal for his team in the 63^rd minute and by now Germans were looking clueless against Croatia. The only goal for Germany came in 79^th minute of the game when Podolski scored his third goal of the tournament but that could not take the team to victory. 

This loss has stunned the German team and its fans. Germany has been considered the most favourite team for the Euro cup 2008 and this lackluster performance has disappointed its fans across Europe and world.
