American rock musician and Golden Globe-nominated actress, Courtney Love has always been considered a bit eccentric by nature, but judged by what she’s currently up to one would not hesitate to call her downright crazy. Of late Courtney Love has been posting really quirky messages on her online blog, in which she has thanked her fans for supporting her alter ego, Cherry Kookoo.  

Courtney Love, who has been labeled by the Rolling Stone magazine as ‘the most controversial woman in the history of rock’, has been interacting with her fans through the popular social networking site, MySpace.com.

In her messages, the singer has spoken about her battle with her alter ego Cherry Kookoo, apart from also selecting a name for her. Courtney Love has written, 'just want to (t)hank all you (sic) supportive lovely people and thank you for putting up with my kookoo bananas alter ego should; we give her a name? should (sic) we give my alter ego a name? hmnmmmm Cherry! 'Cherry kookoo' so if /when im overcome and blog again wich (sic) i wont do… well know it was Cherry Kookoo, but i think I've killed her off… Your support means the world to me i read every comment! rock on.'
