Sources said, Microsoft has a new gadget in its pool. The dual-screen tablet called Courier is one of the prototypes to be launched in near future.
The dual screen tablet comes up with both pen input and multitouch capabilities.
According to the sources, this is just a small part of a project lead by J. Allard. Even some of the biggies have rebuffed the idea saying that it is just a gimmick.
However, the news of tablet PC concept has been leaked well in advance causing fracas in Microsoft’s main Redmond campus. It’s not known how it got leaked to the media, though most of the company officials were unaware about it.
It is still unclear whether there will be any more Courier type devices but Microsoft’s founder and Chairman Bill Gates hopes the tablet PC will be realty soon.
