Eyeing a prospective market in India, super luxury car maker Bentley has introduced the world’s fastest car in India, Continental Flying Spur Speed having a top speed of 320 kmph. The Company has decided to increase the sale of Bentley cars in India. As per reports in the last five months, Bentley has sold about 100 luxury cars in India. The regional director of Bentley Motors Chris Buxton stated that due to the slow down in global automobile market, the company has decided to focus on countries like India, China and Middle East.
The company is hopeful of doing a good business in these countries thereby it would be able to compensate its losses. Over the years, India has evolved as a potential market for luxury cars. The newly launched Continental Flying Spur Speed is priced at Rs 2.5 crore. The company has also decided to launch another 10 units of the Flying Spur family in Indian market. Currently there are four Bentley cars running on Indian roads.
The company claims that the Continental Flying Spur Speed is the most powerful sedan ever built by Bentley. It is endowed with massive 6.0-litre W12 engine. There is a 6-speed automatic gearbox that enables the car to get to the top speed of 320 kmph. With eye-catching exterior and luxurious interior, the new sensation from Bentley is surely going to attract the Indian car lovers.
