Leading telecom operator and Internet service provider, Bharti Airtel launched a low-cost online computer called Airtel Net PC for its broadband consumers. The new cloud-based computer comes with a 15-inch LCD monitor, keyboard and mouse. The storage facility of new Airtel Net PC will be offered on Cloud servers. As per a statement of the company, the Net PC will be available for Rs. 7,999 for Airtel broadband customers in Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida.
 
The new Net PC from Airtel is powered by Microsoft and Nivio Companion. Airtel Net PC features 10GB of storage space in the clouds with 100 per cent data security.  There are three entry packs for Airtel Net PC services. Net PC pack for domestic propose will be available for Rs 699 per month while for professional purpose, one has to pay Rs. 899 per month. Airtel Net PC pack for business use can be accessed by paying Rs. 1,199 per month. 

All the packs offer Airtel broadband at a speed of 256kbps with 3GB data transfer cap, online desktop service with 10GB storage and Microsoft Office standard. Last year on November, Novatium launched Nova netPC for Rs. 2,999 and tied up with BSNL for offering broadband connectivity. The difference between Airtel Net PC and Nova netPC is that the latter offers no LCD monitor.
