A new chocolate termed Lola has been invented by Spanish manufacturer Cocoa Bio which would help people to lose weight. The chocolate is made up of chemicals which would suppress hunger, but yet would be rich like other chocolates. But it comes with a minute green hinge due to the presence of certain ingredients.

Lola is made up of dietary supplement spirulina, a microscopic algae, which is rich in vitamin A and B12.Spirulina plays a vital role in weight loss.

According to the manufacturers, Lola contains certain amino acids, which make the consumers feel that they are not very hungry, thereby reducing overeating.

The recipe includes phenylalanine, an amino acid that stimulates cholecystokinin – a peptide hormone secreted by the brain to suppress hunger. The chocolate is free  of cholesterol and also boost digestion.

Lola is 100 per cent natural and is made using biological cocoa from Peru and Santa Domingo.

"It has an intense flavour and extremely high antioxidant properties,” the Telegraph quoted one of its inventors, Armando Yanez, as saying.

"People should eat one or two chocolates around one hour before a meal. They’ll feel pleasantly full and less likely to be eating to excess later on," Yanez added.
