Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has just started his political journey and is already facing a hurdle in naming his newly formed party 'Praja Rajyam.' It has emerged that there is another man who already has sought registration of his party of the same name. Chiranjeevi wants to name his political party Praja Rajyam, but a denizen of Andhra Pradesh's Cuddapah district has already filed an application to the Election Commission to get his party registered in the same name.

Sources from the Election Commission have divulged that this Cuddapah person filed his application three or four months back and that that the EC has even processed his application. He has also got a reply from the EC. It was also revealed that the application filed by the Telugu superstar is yet to be examined by the Election Commission. Chiranjeevi had moved the EC on August 26 to register his new political outfit as ‘Praja Rajyam’. Source said EC will take one more week to process the application of Chiranjeevi.
