Chiranjeevi, a mega star in the Telugu film industry, is all set to foray into the political fray of Andhra Pradesh by launching his own party in the temple town of Tirupati this August. Sources spill that he will probably convene a public meeting on his birthday on August 22 to announce his political party and its agenda.

Tirupati as a place is famous for housing the temple of the reverent Lord Venkateshwara and therefore holds dear to the Telegu actor. Allu Arvind, the brother-in-law of Chiranjeevi who is also his advisor, paid a visit to Tirupati recently in order to prepare for the public meeting.

But he refrained from commenting on this issue. Since Chiranjeevi is highly popular in the region, his public meeting is likely to be attended by thousands of people. After this meeting, one hears that Chiranjeevi will embark on a state wide tour to prepare ground for the assembly and the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to be held in March next year.
