Telugu film superstar Chiranjeevi launched his political party ‘Praja Rajyam.’ The new party will aim to uplift downtrodden, and will work for the empowerment of poor and deprived. The famous superstar chose temple town of Tirupathi for the huge gathering and launch of political party. True to his promise which he had given on Aug 17 to enter into politics, he is active in politics now.

 

Admittedly, his party will be left-liberal in ideology, and will focus on socialistic values and programs to empower the poor and downtrodden. In his speech lasting for two hours, he expressed his commitment towards circumventing political corruption in higher hierarchy. To core cinematic slogan, this 138 films old superstar said that he is servant of people and not their leader.

 

Chiranjeevi touched upon almost all major issues in his speech which the state of Andhra Pradesh is confronting today including of agrarian crisis and farmers’ suicides to Naxalism, and also the demand for a separate Telangana state. On the issue of separate Telengana state he said that he respects the feelings of concerned Telangana people, and if separation is inevitable his party will help for an amicable separation.
