Real estate firm Chintels India plans to invest Rs 1,800 crore in developing properties in the northern India. The investment is aimed to achieve Rs 4,000-crore revenue by 2014. According to company source the firm has identified five commercial projects in Gurgaon and few farm houses in Delhi. These properties would be developed in due course of time.
 
Prashant Solomon, JMD of the firm said that seeing the potential in North India, the firm has decided to invest up to Rs 1,800 crore in the next six years. It would be investing in residential, office, retail and SEZ projects. He said that the firm will develop five commercial properties in the NCR comprising a total of 3.9 million sq ft.
 
He informed that there would be a total land area of 31 acres in NCR where construction work would be completed in six years of time span. The firm is interested in development of farm houses across the NCR in coming years. The JMD said that the firm has acquired about 100 acres of farm land in and around Delhi and it is thinking of building farm houses in these lands.
