According to the reports of Xinhua, the President of China, Hu Jintao and the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Yousuf Raza Gilani met on Tuesday in the capital city of China, Beijing.
The Chinese President has appreciated the efforts taken by the Prime Minister of Pakistan for maintaining the friendly relationship between China and Pakistan. The focus exerted by the Pakistani Prime Minister for the development of bilateral ties was also appreciated by the Chinese President.
"I appreciate your comment that no matter how the international situation has changed, the people of China and Pakistan are always joined in hearts and hands," Hu said.
Gilani arrived in Beijing on Monday evening on a four-day official visit to China.
