Prior the launch of the five-passenger Chevrolet Cruze at the 2008 Paris Auto Show next month, its three official images have been released. The General Motors state that through their new vehicle they are keen on making a 'strong design statement.' In a statement, Taewan Kim, the Cruze chief designer, said, 'Our goal in designing Cruze was to be bold, not evolutionary. We wanted to take a big step forward, making a strong design statement for Chevrolet products around the world.'

The launch plan details divulged about the Chevrolet Cruze include that it will be introduced in Europe in March 2009. Launches in other markets will follow 'with regional-specific engine choices.' The GM also informed that it will make the 2011 Chevrolet Cruze at its Lordstown, Ohio, facility, which will see an investment of a billion dollars. The Cruze will be marketed in more than 100 countries, informed Ed Peper, Chevrolet general manager.
