India's Chetan Anand and Arvind Bhat made it to the quarterfinals of the Macau Open badminton Grand Prix gold defeating their Danish rivals on Thursday.
Seventh seeded Anand, beat Hans-Kristian Vittinghus by 21-15, 21-15. He will now face world No.1 Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia.
Tenth seeded Bhat defeated Jan O Joergensen by 21-13, 22-20 in a tough match. Joergensen had toppled some of the top players to reach the quarterfinals of the World Championship in Hyderabad held last week.
Bhat will face fourth seed Choong Hann Wong of Malaysia in the quarters.
