Finally Charles Sobhraj who is languishing in Nepal jail has married to his Nepali sweetheart Nihita Biswas. The 64 year old Bikini Killer, as has been termed by media married to 20 year old Nihita Biswas in a sober ritual held inside the jail. On the occasion present were Nihita's mother and advocate for Charles Shakuntala Thapa and some other relatives.

 

On the occasion of marriage the bride wore a pink T-shirt and trousers. As usual, Charles Sobhraj wore his trademark cap. They both exchanged vows and tikas, the red vermilion mark. Jail authorities allowed Charles to come out of his cell to perform marriage ceremony. However, there was no priest present during the ritual to sanctify the marriage.

 

Marriage with Nihita is second one for Charles. He has a common law wife of Chinese origin with whom he has a six year old daughter who will live with newly married couple. As Charles is in jail, the couple could not go to honeymoon. Future of Charles depends on Nepal's Supreme Court judgment which is likely to come.
