Caroline Wozniacki reached her first Grand Slam quarter-final at the US Open on Monday after she took over Caroline Wozniacki.
The 19-year-old Wozniacki stunned sixth seed and former champion Svetlana Kuznetsova with a 2-6, 7-6, 7-6 win to reserve a place in the final eight.
The ninth seed is the face of the Stella McCartney range of tennis clothing. Wozniacki achieved the biggest win of her career on Monday.
Wozniacki speaking on her outfit said,"I feel a bit like a ballerina.” She registered her victory over Kuznetsova in a two hour and 23-minute match .She will face 17-year-old American Melanie Oudin in the quarters.
Wozniacki said,"I feel in great shape. I feel like I could run forever. Its hard work but it's paid off and I love it."
She will need plenty of reserves if she is to get past Oudin, who has taken out Elena Dementieva, Maria Sharapova and Nadia Petrova on her route to the last eight.
The unseeded American is expected to present a big challenge to Wozniacki.She said,"I think we've both played some really good tennis. I enjoy playing on the big stadiums with such a huge crowd (even though) I know they will always be behind Melanie next match."
