Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the French First Lady and former model who is making her Hollywood debut with Woody Allen's ‘Midnight In Paris’ almost gave 32 retakes in five hours for a scene in the flick.
The 42-year old beauty was spotted filming with Hollywood hunk Owen Wilson near the Pantheon (popular building in Paris) on Tuesday.
Carla Bruni is portraying the role of the director of a Parisian museum in the movie. For the scene, she donned a casual white blouse and jeans.
A source quoted, "Carla and Woody got along incredibly well on the set. They talked constantly and laughed quite a lot between takes. Owen as well. They must have shot the same set-up, where she walks along holding a baguette in her hand going into a supermarket... around 32 (times).”
‘Midnight in Paris’, which also stars Adrien Brody and Rachel McAdams, is a romantic comedy about a family travelling to the French capital for business. The party includes a young engaged couple forced to confront the illusion that a life different from their own is better.
