Actress Carey Mulligan has revealed that it was really a big challenge for her to obtain driving license for her role in upcoming flick, ‘Never Let Me Go’.
The actress revealed that she is really scared of trying her hands at driving and was ‘terrified’ when she learned that there is a scene in the movie in which she is supposed to drive a car.
"I got it (driving licence) in Los Angeles finally because, I have to drive in the movie and our director Mark Romanek wanted me to drive a manual car, a stick," said Mulligan.
"I never wanted to learn how to drive. I lived in Germany and London where you don't need to drive," she added.
The beautiful actress added that her tension increased when she failed in her first driving test.
‘Never Let Me Go’ is an upcoming dystopian drama film based on a novel of the same name written by Kazuo Ishiguro. It is directed by Mark Romanek and also stars Keira Knightley and Andrew Garfield. The film is scheduled to be released in United States on 15 September 2010.
