Cairn India has registered a net profit of Rs.469.5 crore for the second quarter of the 2009-10 fiscal which ended on Sep 30, logging a 60% increase from the net profit logged during last fiscal.
The consolidated revenue of Cairn India has been registered at Rs.229.8 crore for the period under the review as against the Rs.320.6 crore logged during the second quarter of the previous fiscal.
Cairn India has plans to increase the production to 125,000 barrels per day by first half of 2010.
The second quarter saw Cairn produce 60,480 barrels per day, down from 65,566 barrels per day in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal.
