Time is running out for West Bengal CM Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee, and both are, now looking for a peace formula for Singur project affected person (PAP). Left Front chairman Biman Bose expectedly will propose for alternate land for those who didn't give their consent to solve the issue for once and all.

Also, according to reports, the state government is trying to give land and money to each and every Singur PAP. And, this could be the most lucrative compensation package. The lucrative pension scheme is also being designed for all the 12,624 Singur PAP. The detailed study of the plan has not yet been worked out, but some nuances of the project are speculative.

According to a close source to state administration, the time bound pension scheme to PAPs has already been shown to Tata Motor's top hierarchy. Government would have to lose some Rs 10 crore annually on this pension deal. Accordingly, the pension amount irrespective of their land value may be handed to PAPs in 12 months.
