Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) and IT products company Novatium Solutions have entered into a partnership to offer Nova netPC enabled with the BSNL broadband. One of the beneficial features of this partnership is that people will be able to buy Nova netPC for Rs Rs.2, 999. The usage of more PCs will help BSNL to expand its broadband service. According to the chairman and managing director of BSNL, Kuldeep Goyal, the recent step has been taken to offer the consumers maximum access to BSNL's broadband facility. The state-run telecom company of India has a massive connectivity network and a huge infrastructure.
The alliance with Novatium Solutions will usher a new revolution in the field of broadband connectivity in the country, he added. Novatium Solutions is reported to have built Nova netPC in such a way so that it can be operated like any household appliance. The low-cost user friendly computers from Novatium Solutions can operated at the touch of a button. The IT products company is expecting to do a great business in India by attaining a subscriber base of 125,000 in the country by the end of the financial year.
