Simon Monjack, the widower of Brittany Murphy was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Sunday night just after 5 months of his wife's tragic death. Monjack was left devastated after the untimely demise of his actress wife in December 2009.
British screenwriter was found unconscious by Brittany’s mother Sharon on Sunday night at around 9.30pm after which she called for the emergency but it was too late.
Till now, the reasons of Monjack’s death are not known but it is assumed that he suffered a heart attack.
Brittany Murphy who died at the age of 32 was suffering from a combination of pneumonia, an iron deficiency and multiple drug intoxication and died on December 20, 2009. Following the death of Murphy, the heart broken screenwriter revealed that they were planning to start a family soon.
Simon had said: “She knew her career wasn’t in the best place. She was ready to kind of be a mother and that was what a lot of the talk was about.”
“We were discussing children the night before she passed. We were discussing baby names. A boy would have been Oliver and a girl would have been Sophie. That was the plan, to move to New York and to start a family,” he added.
