Hollywood Pop star Britney Spears has been the latest victim of the hackers. Recently, they have hacked her Verified Twitter account, which is supposed to be a legitimate account.
Verified Twitter accounts can be used by celebrities and important agencies to ensure that their names and brands are not being used by anybody or hacked by any person. Twitter offers that service for some pages only.
Britney Spears has admitted this saying that this has really happened.
Britney Spears has a large number of followers and her page has almost 3.75 million followers.
The news was clear from her last two posts, which suggests that someone has taken control of her personal page. Firstly, Britney posted, "I hope that the new world order will arrive as soon as possible!", while earlier she wrote, "I give myself to Lucifer every day for it to arrive as quickly as possible, Glory to Satan." The last post before this says, "Britney rocked it in Melbourne last night! Adam Leber, Manager" which clearly shows that her account had been hacked recently.
Twitter is planning to launch this Verified service for businesses and other organizations. But it has to analyze the concerned issues before taking such a step.
