Pop diva Britney Spears is once again ready to reprise her role as a bubbly secretary in CBS’ ‘How I Met Your Mother’. CBS revealed on Monday, April 28, 2008 that Spears will reprise her role as the bubbly secretary Abby in the May 12 episode. Craig Thomas, series executive producer and co-creator remarked that their team is all thrilled to have Britney once again on their show.
"How I Met Your Mother" stars Neil Patrick Harris, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segel and Radnor as an urban family of twenty-something New Yorkers. Britney’s appearance on the show last time on the March 24th episode had won her extremely good reviews and boosted the show’s viewership by one million from 9.6 million to 10.6 million. Executive Producer Carter Bays revealed that it was from the pop diva’s side that an initiative was made to star in the show.
