Queen Elizabeth II of Britain is likely to express sympathy with the victims of the global credit crunch and that of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in her Christmas Day message. Queen's message will broadcast in afternoon on Thursday (December 25). The traditional 10-minute message from the Queen will pay tributes to those who have led unselfish lives in the service of others particularly in military those who have lost their lives to terrorism, including the victims of last month's attack on Mumbai.
The queen will refer to feelings of insecurity among people. The Queen is concerned about the global financial meltdown and will describe the condition of the people facing the burnt of the crisis. The UK is battling with rising unemployment and uncertainty in the financial markets. She will also refer to the suffering of the global people and will say that Christmas is a time for celebration, but this year it is a more sombre occasion for many.
The Queen's message will be transmitted on both television and radio at 3 p.m. GMT on Christmas Day and will be simultaneously available on the Royal Channel on the YouTube website.
