According to the report of the Business and Enterprise Committee, British MPs want the Labor government to have 'Special Relationship' with India similar to that of the USA. The report is titled 'Waking up to India: Developments in UK-India Economic Relations'.
 
The reports said that since 2006, there has been improvement in the economic relations between UK and India. It also mentions about the acquisitions of various British companies by the Indian companies. The report also said that the Indian markets have huge opportunities and UK must take advantage of these opportunities.
 
The committee comprised of several members of the UK Trade and investment and also Indian origin honcho Karan Bilimoria.
