Instead of wooing your sweetheart with promises of stars and the moon, talk about taking him / her on a space tour because the latter at least now seems possible. This is because Britain has unveiled its biggest ever space rocket Nova 2 that targets (if all goes as planned) to take tourists into space by 2013. Nova 2 is 58 feet long and was presented before all at the Salford University by Steve Bennett, head of the university's Space Technology Laboratory. The academician Steve Bennett also happens to be the CEO of a private firm, Starchaser Industries.

He plans to launch Nova 2 in September 2009 to examine a safety system. If found successful, then it could lead to the creation of an even bigger rocket to take tourists into space. Steve Bennett highlighted that Nova 2 is the biggest rocket ever made and operated from UK

If this project turns out to be successful eventually, then the space tourism mission of Bennett will allow people to buy flights to the space where they will get to spend 20 minutes and relish the experience.  The space rocket would be traveling at the speed of 3,500 miles per hour.
