Leading international grocery and general merchandising retail chain of Britain, Tesco announced to launch an online fashion store by the end of this year. The online fashion store will display and sell several items under Tesco's brand name. The shoppers will get the facilities of a full-fledged fashion store in Tesco's website.

 

Tesco has planned to come up with a website after finding that retailers are unable to persuade the shoppers on anything other than food. According to Tesco's commercial director Richard Brasher the new online fashion store has been designed with a view to present itself in a totally different look.

 

He said that now-a-days online fashion has attained tremendous popularity for its easy accessibility. Online fashion allows the shoppers to see video of clothes being modeled and help them to make their choices. It also helps them to browse by size, label, style or colour of the different apparels. He added that all this became possible due to better and high-speed broadband connectivity.
