Popular car maker BMW AG has launched the redesigned version of the X3. There will be two variants such as the 240-hp 2011 BMW X3 xDrive28i and the 300-hp 2011 BMW X3 xDrive35i.

However, this 2011 model can only be expected by the end of 2010 in India.

The new BMW X3 will add a new benchmark in the Sports Activity Vehicle segment by carrying significant agility and efficiency. The design of this model looks nice and the comfort options have also been taken care of by the company.

The BMW X3 is the typical BMW X with a stretched outline. There has been great change in interior space to offer travel comfort as well as transportation capacities to more persons. The vehicle also features triangular light pattern along with daytime running lights and GPS facility.

The BMW X3 carries two ultra-modern fourcylinder diesel engines that can develop a maximum power output of 135 kW/184 bhp as compared to the earlier 5 kW.  In the new design, the average fuel consumption has been reduced by 14% to 5.6 litres/100 km.

BMW X3 xDrive35i can attain a top speed of 245 km/h and can have average fuel consumption of 8.8 litres/100 km. The CO2 emission level has been recorded as 147g/km in top speed and full acceleration. The company has also launched its diesel version, the xDrive20d that comes with a six-speed manual transmission and a start/stop feature.

With the characteristically made three-dimensional surface design and added performance, you can enjoy immense driving experience with the X3.
