The Research In Motion (RIM) has unveiled the new BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 through Verizon Wireless. The all-new smart phone is enriched with lots of multimedia features. Users of BlackBerry Pearl Flip can enjoy fast email and messaging experiences with broadband network’s high speed connectivity. The mobile phone comes in silver color with a trendy flip design. It is equipped with a microSD and SDHC memory slot for expandable memory up to 16GB.
 
BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 features two high resolution colour displays with the external LCD allowing customers to read without opening the phone. The users can manage messages through the Visual Voice Mail facility incorporated in the smartphone. With large SureType QWERTY keyboard, the phone allows the users to type and dial with ease.
 
The BlackBerry Media Sync put into the smartphone enables easy management of music. It also supports the BlackBerry App World with the help of which one can easily access networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Flicker. In addition to this, the smartphone offers  BlackBerry Internet Service along with Enterprise Server. 

BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 also offers VZ Navigator that guides users with directions to numerous points of interest. The new smartphone will be available for a price of $129.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate with a  two-year customer agreement. The feature-enriched smartphone will be released in the market from June 19, 2009 onwards via the Verizon Wireless Communications Store.
