Canada-based Research in Motion (RIM) announced to unveil its high-featured mobile phone Blackberry Curve 8900 in India. The handset belongs to RIM's Blackberry smartphone range. With advanced media player for music, video and pictures the Blackberry Curve 8900 offers all the multimedia facilities. The smartphone is endowed with 3.2 megapixel camera having auto focus, image stabilization, digital zoom, flash and video recording facilities.
There is a built-in GPS facility embedded within the handset. The 480x360-pixel screen of the phone offers crystal clear pictures and video images. The new Blackberry Curve comes with removal battery that can offer 5 hours of talk time and 15 days of standby time. Weighing only 110 gms, the phone supports full HTML and fast browsing. The only thing that is not included in Blackberry Curve is the 3G option.
The classy design of the smartphone adds extra value to the Blackberry phone. With easy-to-use features, the handset is surely going to garb the attention of mobile savvy Indians. The memory of Blackberry Curve can be expanded to 16 GB and there is MicroSD/SDHC memory card slot in the smartphone. The price of the Curve is expected to be lower than that of Blackberry Storm.
