The Bharatiya Janata Party, incensed over the latest acts of the terrorists, said that it will not allow any official of the Inter Services Intelligence, Pakistan’s premier intelligence agency to land in Mumbai to probe the recent terror attack. BJP general secretary Gopinath Munde on Sunday (November 30) said that his party would not allow any official of the Inter Services Intelligence agency to "step into Mumbai".

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had earlier asked his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani to send the ISI chief to India to aid the probe of Mumbai terror attacks. Pakistan, meanwhile, has refused to send ISI chief Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha to India and said that it will send another ISI official of Director rank.

A statement issued by the party read that the BJP do not agree to ISI chief or any other official of that agency coming to India for probe. It will not let anybody from ISI to step into Mumbai. Adding further the statement said that ISI was not only responsible for the 1993 Mumbai blasts but also in 90 percent of the blasts across the country. Munde termed the invitation of ISI chief as “handing over treasury keys to the thief."

Reacting on the expulsion of Shivraj Patil from the Union Cabinet, Munde said that it was 'too late' and Patil should have quit after the Delhi blasts in September last.
