Birla Corp of the MP Birla Group is now a part of the Best Under a Billion list prepared by the Forbes Magazine.
According to a Birla Corp release, which was issued on Thursday, out of the 25,326 plus publicly listed firms which have recorded sales of below $1 billion in the Asia-Pacific region, only 200 firms have been featured in the list.
Twenty Indian companies feature under the category.
A major part of the list has firms from China and Hong Kong, 78, followed by Japan, 24. There are 23 firms from South Korea which are part of this Forbes list. India has been ranked fourth with 20 entries following which Australia, with 18 firms, have made its position.
